This year marked a milestone for the Mapua Tekno Teatro. “Pepe Paano Ka?” one of the Mapua Tekno Teatro DRAMAFEST Originals became a part of this year’s PASINAYA CCP Open House Festival, the biggest and the most popular multi-arts festival in the country. As we conclude our 11th season, we would like to share this successful and productive year with the entire Mapua community by restaging “Pepe Paano Ka?” The performance will be at Mapúa Institute of Technology, Seminar Room, May 24, 25, and 26, 2012.Through this production we would also like to take the opportunity to acquaint the Mapua community with our planned productions and activities for the upcoming 12th season which starts this July.

When moments seem to be timeless, we’re impatient…

When we have all the time in the world, we rush..

When curiosity strikes, we dive..

When times go crucial, we play..

When everything falls, we go mad…

Insanity, madness, enthusiasm…

we act as if we’re Gods…

Living without thinking..

Words are just words..

We judge according to what we want and what we like..

and yet…

we grew…

we learn…

mistakes before…

are now lessons earned..

slowly….

WE GREW……

“Time gives your life a unique perspective as you get older. You see that the challenges that once seemed so scary when you were young, really weren’t that scary at all. Looking back, you’re glad you took the risks. Like my mother said: ‘if you don’t get a few bruises and scrapes along the way then you’re not living’. And if time teaches us anything in this crazy world, it’s that nothing worth having ever comes easy.”

Maybe it takes something you used to want in your past to point out the goodness of what you have now. Maybe we get bored with stuff because we put so much importance on things that are new and as soon as the novelty wears off, we forget just what we liked about it in the first place. Nothing can ever stay the same, so why do we expect it to? Instead we should just enjoy it for what it is instead of taking it for granted.

Then what happened.?

It was a very turbulent ride, a rocky road, harsh, really harsh, some of them looses something, some hyperventilates (hahaha), some almost gave up……but still, we placed our best foot forward to finish things, to place things on their proper places, to make something happen…..

but it was worth it…everything went fine, and I came soon to realize that the harsh ride to the end is something I should be thankful of…It made us stronger, better than ever.

The harder things become, the stronger you become and if you are able to finish things right..stay hungry and stay foolish…to enhance yourself more…
